A jack-of-all-trades, most things come easy to this young Vektreni. With a naturally strong and agile body, Orpheus rarely has to work hard when completing missions or tasks. Sporting a quiet yet profound sense of self-confidence, he is highly skilled in most activities, especially the physically demanding such as hunting, running or tracking. Not one to devote time into a well-thought out plan, Ophy's inspiration comes in great waves. Whether in the middle of the night or half-way through a current task, when an idea comes to him, he must act. No matter the inconvenience or absurdity. He follows a deeply instinctual path, and places a lot of faith in natural ability. This makes him dispassionate and unmotivated, and he often misses opportunity to grow as a result.  Living with a highly resistant sense of self assurance, Orpheus rarely feels stressed or fearful. He takes things as they come, and is a marvelous improviser. He finds great joy in the presence of other's, and is a natural extrovert. Contrary to some of his elder siblings, Orpheus bears a deep sense of empathy and feels most at peace when bringing peace to his friends and family. He finds some of the pack's practices disturbing, but keeps his grievances to himself out of respect for his heritage.

Naturally very bright, Orpheus is one to find a way when there is none. Creative and energetic, he is always eager to test new techniques out in the field, whether that be during the hunt or whilst setting traps for the unfortunate. His enthusiasm may mature into a sharp wit as he ages, with the right training. Blessed with a quick and eager mind, he learns swiftly and rarely backs down from a challenge. He is in constant need of entertainment, and he is often busying himself with games and other activities to pass the time and ease his boredom.  Viewing the world from excited eyes, Orpheus seldom see's danger beyond the camp's borders. He has a deep passion for exploration and finds thrill when faced with challenging or potentially threatening situations. Careless but courageous, he has good faith in both himself and his comrades and is never one to cower. Bold by nature, he is quick to call out should he see a problem, whether that be among his pack-mates or out on a mission. Clever and able to think well on his paws, he rarely feels unprepared or caught off guard.

Finding great pleasure in experimenting, he is always curious to see the outcome from different situations, plans or approaches. Known to think outside the box, he is quick to attack from a different angle, offering a unique point of view and somewhat unusual way of thinking. Although most would brand him as downright odd, Orphy prefers the term, ingenious. Independent by default, Orpheus doesn't feel reliant on other's to get him where he needs to go. Although enjoying the social life, he doesn't need to be the center of attention and feels equally as content when on his own. A natural leader, he has an uncanny ability to make other's feel at ease, however, his brashness and careless traits hinder him greatly. He has never had to lean on another for help, and therefore fails to see and respect the importance of working as a single unit.

Often "off with the fairies", Orpheus has the attention span of a sparrow. Unintentionally selfish in the way he thinks, this male has little time for other's agendas and approaches distasteful duties with a lazy or unhelpful attitude. He is easily bored and shows little respect to the tasks he has no interest in. Having been so used to facing life as it comes along, Orpheus has failed to find a true moral ground. He had little concern for what is right and wrong in his youth, knowing only to complete the tasks set by his superiors and nothing much else. He has lived a very sheltered life, having little contact with outsiders. However, his eagerness to learn and discover means, if he were to face a new culture, he would be quick to abandon his current sensibilities out of sheer curiosity. Without solid mentoring or guidance, he could grow into quite an unstable and deceitful individual, too easily manipulated by the opinions of others. 

His naturally gifted skill-set means Orpheus has never had to try for the things he wants. Most come easy to him, and he is ignorant of failure. He takes his achievements, talents and circumstances for granted, not fully appreciating how blessed he is. As he ages, Orpheus feels deeply unaccomplished and hollow. He no longer understands what it is he had been living and training for, and wants nothing more than to find his true calling. His own mind may exhaust him in the end.
